Start 2024 out with a bang!

Add an additional 1500 lb of thrust to your stock T-33 Shooting Star with this little trick. The J-33-A-24 puts out 6100 lbf, that’s more than the total output of 3 L- 29s!

This engine is believed to come from a T2V SeaStar, a Navy version of the t33 beefed up for carrier operations. Engine turns over easily by hand but will require some work to be operational. There are some small parts missing, please see attached photos.

There are no logs, the attached maintenance tag indicates this was last overhauled in 1967 shortly before going to the boneyard. The previous owner acquired this around 1972/1973. The beefy roll around stand is included, made for J-33s.
