WW2 CAMP DAVIS NORTH CAROLINA BASE PHOTO

Description

Photo estimated to be 1940-1941. Camp Davis was built in 1940 as an anti-aircraft artillery training facility. The Douglas B-18 Bolo bombers & Blimp appear superimposed which was common for camp photos of the era. This has been in storage for many years. Frame included. Card in photos to prevent easy reconstruction to print.
